Welcome to the World, Straight River

Straight River is now for sale!

To purchase print copies of Straight River today, the best way for you to help your community is to order a copy from your nearest independent bookstore. Go to the website Indiebound.org and enter your zip code to find your nearest local bookstore. Then, when you contact your local bookstore, mention that if they order from the wholesale ordering page for retailers at Booklocker.com, they may get a better discount than if they order through another book distributor.

E-book versions will be widely available soon

If you “simply must have it today,” on your e-reader, you can order a PDF version of Straight River immediately from Booklocker.com.

If you want a signed print copy of Straight River, please join me at one of these upcoming events. The Big Kahuna will be the Official Book Launch Celebration at Central Park Coffee in Owatonna on Thursday, February 28, from 4-6 pm (tentative but 95% certain) followed by a series of events in and around Owatonna and southern Minnesota. I may have a few fun things for those who attend (such as treats and prizes). Check my website, chrisnorbury.com regularly for updates on all coming events.

Upcoming events that are on the schedule as of today:
Tuesday, March 5, from 4-6 pm at Owatonna Fitness in their Fresh Cafe
Saturday, March 16, from 1-3 pm at Sweet Reads Books in Austin, MN.
Saturday, March 26, from 10:30-4:30 at the Rosemount Writers’ Festival & Book Fair, in Rosemount, MN

I have several more events scheduled and planned in the Twin Cities and other locations, mostly in Minnesota.

I’d love to generate a ton of sales momentum early on. So, if you know you want a copy of Straight River, please order it soon. Then post a review, positive or negative, on Goodreads.com or Amazon.com. (but I hope mostly positive!) Multiple reviews are an author’s best marketing tool today along with word of mouth.

High sales numbers help my books gain more attention on the major websites. More attention encourages future sales, which directly affects my donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern MN. Remember, every book sold generates a one-dollar donation from me to that outstanding mentoring organization. To those of you who have purchased copies of Castle Danger, thank you so much for helping this great cause.
