Thanks Rosemount

My table at 2022 RAAC Writers Fest & Book FairHad an excellent weekend at one of my favorite book venues

Thanks, Rosemount for being so supportive of local authors. After my Meet the Author presentation on Thursday, I participated in the Rosemount Writers Festival & Book Fair all day Saturday. Lots of fun seeing so many author colleagues–some of whom are becoming friends in a live setting with real people who are book lovers. There was also a full schedule of workshops for current and aspiring writers. My group, Midwest Mystery Works, did a panel discussion on “Writing Female Protagonists” which was, I hope, informative to those who attended. We on the panel certainly enjoyed talking about that subject.

Next Event

Continuing the Dangerous Straits book launch tour, I’ll be at Fair Trade Books in Red Wing MN on Saturday, March 26. from 11 am to 1 pm.

Fair Trade Books is an outstanding indie bookstore. I love driving over to share my new books with area readers. The Owners, Rick & Zoe, are terrific and provide outstanding customer service to their clientele. They have new and used books, feature local authors on a regular basis, and are staunch supporters and promoters of small businesses and local culture in the Red Wing area. And if that weren’t enough, their dog, Reveler, is one of the nicest dogs you’ll ever meet, and he’s a fixture at the store . . .

. . . even if he likes to sleep a lot on the sidewalk in front of the store on a sunny, warm day. 🙂

Here’s my schedule for the next few weeks in case you can’t make it to Red Wing on Saturday
