LMBT SALES OFF TO A GOOD START

Update and Weekend events

Two+ weeks after publication, Little Mountain, Big Trouble sales are off to a good start! Thanks to all who’ve taken the chance on my foray into the middle-grade adventure genre. I’m now in full-on GO mode for events this summer. The next two are Thursday, July 20–the Riverwalk Market Fair’s Third Thursday event in Northfield, followed by GEM Days in Owatonna on Saturday, July 22. Click on the links below for times and details.

Next week is the biggie, though. The book launch party for Little Mountain, Big Trouble at the Owatonna Library on Thursday, July 27. I’ll do a short presentation, talk about the book, have a speaker from BBBS of Southern MN tell attendees about the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and do a short reading from the book. Light refreshments will be served and I’ll give away some copies of LMBT as door prizes. SAVE THAT DATE! Book launch parties are some of my favorite events because I get to celebrate with friends and fans. Publishing a book is tough, a huge milestone, and an amazing relief when it’s done. So come and join me next week to party hearty with me.

Reviews

Keep those reviews trickling in, readers. I’m up to 179 total reviews and ratings for Matt Lanier thrillers. The goal is 200 by the end of the year. Please take a few minutes and post an online review if you’ve read any of the books. Good or bad, any review is better than none. And if you’re an early reader of Little Mountain, Big Trouble, I’d LOVE to read your review. I have no idea if the book is good, and ratings will give me at least a general idea if I succeeded in telling a good story. Thanks.
