I’m pleased and honored to announce the first of many awards for Straight River. It joins my first book, Castle Danger, as an award winner . . . times two!
First, Straight River was selected as a SEMIFINALIST for the best book in the Mystery/Thriller category for the 2019 Kindle Book Review (KBR) Awards.
Second, the cover of Straight River was a FINALIST for Best Book Cover in all categories in the same contest, the 2019 Kindle Book Review (KBR) Awards. Kudos to cover designer Carl Graves of Extended Imagery for his outstanding work on both covers. Because of his artistic talent, I regularly receive compliments for both book covers at my book-signing events.
Going forward, I hope Straight River wins many more awards. However, that all depends on luck and the vagaries of subjective judging by human readers.
