Gertrude Warner Award Finalist for LMBT

Contest News

I’m pleased and excited to announce that Little Mountain, Big Trouble has reached the finals of the Gertrude Warner Award for middle-grade fiction! This is my second time as a finalist in the contests sponsored by the Chanticleer International Book Awards. You may recall that Straight River was a 2020 Finalist for the CLUE awards for suspense and thriller fiction.

The Gertrude Warner Book Awards is a division of the Chanticleer International Book Awards (The CIBAs). The competition is tough because more than 20 books have made the finals. I think the winner will be announced in about a month. Stay tuned. 😛

REVIEWS

Thanks for keeping them trickling in for the trilogy.

But I could still use more for Little Mountain, Big Trouble. My goal is to get to 50 total combined reviews on all review sites, but especially Goodreads.com and Amazon.com. If you’ve read the book, loved it or hated it or anything in between, please consider posting an honest few sentences about LMBT. It’s the best way for readers to find the book other than word of mouth . . . so don’t stop doing that either! 🙂

It only takes a few minutes, and I truly appreciate your effort. Thanks.

Upcoming Events

Nothing for the next few weeks. However, I’m working on a fun mystery short story I hope to submit to an anthology for the Twin Cities Chapter of Sisters in Crime. I’ll let you know if my story is accepted. I’ll give you one hint: the probable title is “Thundersnow.”
