Memorial Day traditionally marks the start of Summer. For me as an author, I welcome Summer with LIVE book events.
FIRST UP
Thursday, June 3, 5 pm-8 pm. Downtown Thursday, North Cedar Avenue, Owatonna MN.
Also happening on Thursday, July 1, and Thursday, August 5.
Food, music, arts, crafts, shopping, and books by yours truly, all in a street atmosphere in the 100-300 blocks of N. Cedar. The weather looks perfect so come on out and enjoy some safe, casual socializing, get something to eat, browse the booths and shops, and get out and enjoy Minnesota in June. I’ll set up my canopy tent and will be signing and selling copies of Straight River, Castle Danger, and Cooked to Death, Vol, V: Restaurant in Peace.
RECENT NEWS
Beta Readers are just about finished critiquing my latest book, which will be the sequel to Castle Danger. So far I’m encouraged by the comments I’ve scanned. I think it’s much closer to publishable than I imagined when I sent it out. But I’ll wait until my editor gets his hands on it before I get overconfident. 🙁
Self-abuse disguised as a wilderness canoe trip.
Those of you who know me or have heard about me know that I have this mild obsession with going into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA) on my own with my canoe and packs for a week or so and living about as primitively as possible in the technology age. I recently finished another solo canoe trip and came home tired, bruised, bug-bitten, but in one piece.
